REGISTRATION TERMS AND CONDITIONS

The Society of Hospital Pharmacists of Australia (SHPA) reserve the right to change or cancel the conference program. Due to State or Commonwealth Government COVID-19 restrictions/guidelines your experience at PharmCare 2023 may differ to previous years or from what is currently promoted.

PAYMENT OF REGISTRATION FEES

All prices are in Australian dollars and include GST. All accounts must be paid in full prior to the Conference. Early Bird Registration fee will be available until 11:55pm AEDT Tuesday 14 February 2023. Payment for Early Bird Registrations MUST be received by 11:55pm AEDT Tuesday 14 February 2023. After this date the Early Bird rate expires and the Standard rate will be applied automatically to all unpaid registrations. All accounts must be paid in full prior to PharmCare 2023. The following payment methods are accepted: Credit Card; the conference accepts MasterCard and Visa. Payments will appear on your statement as ‘The Society of Hospital Pharmacists of Australia’. Credit card payments will be processed via a third party gateway and attract a 1.61% surcharge. AMEX is not accepted. Electronic Funds Transfer Bank details will be on your invoice. Please include your surname and invoice number as reference when transferring funds. Email your remittance advice to accounts@shpa.org.au.

CANCELLATION OF REGISTRATION DUE TO COVID-19

SHPA as the PharmCare 2023 organisers reserve the right to cancel the conference for any reason including direct or indirect impact of COVID-19. In this instance delegates will receive a full refund less credit card surcharges.
If a delegate cannot attend due to a direct impact of COVID-19, such as State or Commonwealth government mandated border closures a full refund will be provided less credit card surcharges.

CANCELLATION OF REGISTRATION FOR OTHER REASONS

We hope that you will not have to cancel your registration, however, should this be necessary cancellations must be notified in writing to the Conference Secretariat. Cancellations received prior to 25 January 2023 will receive a full refund less $100 (inc GST) administration charge. Refunds for cancellations received on/after 26 January 2023 will only be made in exceptional circumstances. If you are unable to attend, a substitute is welcome at no extra charge. Please advise the Conference Secretariat of the details of the substitute delegate in writing.

Please note that credit card surcharges will not be refunded at any time.

CONFIRMATION OF REGISTRATION/TAX INVOICE

Once you have completed the online registration form you will receive a confirmation email. Please note that the email confirmation will be sent to the email address entered when registering for the conference. This confirmation email will include your tax invoice and or receipt as an attachment.

PRIVACY

Information collected as part of the conference registration process is owned by the Society of Hospital Pharmacists of Australia. We only access information that you voluntarily give us. We will not provide this information to any third party, other than as necessary to fulfil your request (such as accommodation providers).

INSURANCE AND LIABILITY

Participants are strongly advised to obtain appropriate travel, health and accident insurance. Delegate registration fees do not provide for any such coverage. The conference organisers cannot accept any responsibility for personal injuries, loss of, or damage to private property belonging to the conference participants and accompanying persons.

The Society of Hospital Pharmacists of Australia (SHPA) reserve the right to change or cancel the conference program.
If SHPA cancel the event you will receive 100% of the registration fee less credit card fees but SHPA bears no responsibility for any costs incurred (such as flights, accommodation, travel or expenses) or loss of income.

PHOTOGRAPHY

By registering, participants acknowledge and consent that during their attendance at PharmCare 2023 their image or voice may be recorded via video, photography or by any other means (“recorded”) by an officer or official of PharmCare 2023 which may be distributed or published at the discretion of the Organisers of the Conference. If you do not wish to be recorded, you are required to formally advise the Conference Office in advance by email. Photographs may be taken during the conference and reproduced for SHPA promotional purposes.

VENUE/ACCESSIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

For special accessibility requirements for in-person events please complete the relevant section when registering online and this information will be forwarded to third parties.

CATERING/DIETARY REQUIREMENTS

Please complete the necessary section when registering online. SHPA will notify third parties such as caterers/suppliers of any dietary requirements.

Whilst every care is taken to notify venues of dietary requirements, SHPA cannot guarantee completely allergy free meals, nor be held responsible for any adverse reaction. Any registrant who has notified SHPA of a dietary requirement should make themselves known to the seminar coordinator and/or venue staff upon their arrival.

Some dietary requirements such as Kosher meals may incur an additional cost which is the responsibility of the delegate. SHPA will notify you in advance.
